Our Little Italy Food Tour will explore the Cleveland Italian culture that has existed for generations; its people, its philosophies, and most importantly its food. The Little Italy Italy Redevelopment Annual Meeting Wednesday, September 18th at 6:00 pm in the Holy Rosary Church Hall (12021 Mayfield Road Cleveland Ohio 44106) In addition to LIRC's annual business meeting, this meeting will feature a presentation of the recently approved Design Guidelines for our Historic District and a discussion of a new LIRC program in collaboration with Cleveland Restoration Society (CRS). The holiday season is a great time to showcase the history and charm of Little Italy! By the late 1890s, many Italian immigrants had settled in the Mayfield-Murray Hill area. By 1911, it was estimated that 96% of the inhabitants were Italian-born, with another 2% having Italian parents.
