Affettati is a casual Little Italy sandwich shop serving high-quality deli meats and cheeses on focaccia baked fresh in-house every morning. Kevin Dawe started the shop by baking the bread himself, and the menu has grown to a lineup of numbered sandwiches, from classic prosciutto and salami to mortadella and burrata with pistachio pesto, roast beef with horseradish, smoked turkey with avocado and bacon, and vegetarian options like caprese and portobello. Don’t skip the chocolate chip cookie. Affettati is mostly carryout, so call ahead or stop in and watch your sandwich being made.
