In celebration of Italian American Heritage Month, TAKE A HIKE® is excited to extend its Little Italy tours throughout October! These 60-minute, guide-led tours will be available every Tuesday, offering a unique opportunity to explore the rich history of Little Italy. Along the way, you’ll meet Rocky Colavito and Dominicantonio Mastrangelo, protrayed by actors, who will share their inspiring stories. Join us for an engaging and educational journey through Little Italy that honors the vibrant heritage and contributions of the Italian American community.

Little Italy Tour meets at the Tony Brush Park. Please arrive 15 minutes early as the tour starts promptly.

Registration is limited. Tickets are $10 and every guest will receive a $5 gift certificate at check in, redeemable at any of the following partcipating Little Italy businesses.

About the Tour: By the late 1890s, many Italian immigrants had settled in the Mayfield-Murray Hill area and worked in the nearby marbleworks. In 1911 it was estimated that 96% of the inhabitants were Italian-born, and another 2% were of Italian parents. Today the neighborhood retains its historic and cultural charm.
